These images were taken on September 30, 2023, at Bodie State Historical Park in California. This is the remarkably well preserved gold mining ghost town that dates back to 1881. The interiors of the buildings are protected by glass, so to get the interior shots here, I used a technique of shooting multiple shots with the Nikon Z9 held directly against the glass and then stitching those images together to give a relatively clear, glare-free view of what was inside.
